How Much Is My Used Jacuzzi Stand Alone Spa Worth?

I am selling my jacuzzi in local classifieds and I'm not sure how to price it. Would you start with a high price and see how many calls you get ? How do you price used items you are selling?

I never know what to price things. My sister in law who is a whiz at selling stuff in classifieds, usually gets no more than 50% of what she paid for an item-sometimes she only gets 40%. But I always start high because people will try to talk you down, so by starting high, you’ll have some leeway in there and hopefully still sell at 45-50% of cost. I always put the term “OBO” (Or Best Offer), or even something like “$3500, or Make Offer” after my price in the ads so people know I’m willing to work with them.

Well, for lightly used, almost new figure not more that 50% of the cost of a new one. If it is more than a year or two old, probably 25% of new or less.

is it being sold with or without you in it?
